Are you curious to learn more about how Florida formed geologically, its fossil record and early human history? Come join us to learn more about it. Discover how all of this impacts our lives today. You will come to realize what a special place Florida truly is.
The Friends of Boyd Hill Nature Preserve presents the Natural History Speaker Series. This program offers fascinating presentations on the natural and cultural history of Florida by individuals who are authorities in their fields. It is cosponsored by the City of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department on the second Tuesday of each month (September – March) at 7:00 p.m. Please note the April program will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m.

The St. Petersburg Beer and Bacon Festival is January 19th! You don’t want to miss out! General Admission is just $10! Children under 10 years of age are free admission (food available for purchase). |Route:||The parade begins at Bay to Bay Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard. It continues along Bayshore Boulevard to Brorein Street, turns east on Brorein Street, then north on Ashley Drive. The parade ends at Cass Street & Ashley Drive.|
|Viewing:||Purchasing reserved bleacher seats is the best way to secure a great viewing spot for this unique parade. There are many locations open to the public along Bayshore Boulevard and in downtown Tampa for viewing the parade.|
|Admission||Reserved seating is available. Reserved tickets are required for adults and children over the age of two. Children two and under, without a ticket, must remain in an adult’s lap. Shipping and handling fees apply. See bleacher seating locations on the Event Map.|
It is not to late to donate to Toys for Tots! They are picking up tomorrow. Swing by today to make your donation count this holiday! Toys for Tots has a high demand for toys this year and it is up to us to come together to give these children a wonderful Christmas! Your donation matters! The office is open until 6 pm to accept toys, and the night attendants will be here until 10PM if you happen to make it a little bit later! Thanks in advance! Toys for tots is located in our clubhouse and they will be picking up on 12/16/2018.

Every year, hundreds of walkers gather in celebration of their own pets to help raise instrumental funds to support the thousands of pets who find refuge at the SPCA Tampa Bay, while they await their new furever homes.

Our office is accepting donations for Hurricane Florence relief! Together, we can make a difference! Here is a list of the items needed:
-Non-perishable baby food, formula, diapers, wipes
-Toiletries i.e. toilet paper,tooth brushes, toothpaste
-Gift cards: Gas and grocery
If you cannot donate items, please consider donating any generous amount to the American Red Cross foundation. You can bring us a check made out to them and we will deliver it for you, or you can donate on their web page electronically. All donations and checks will be hand delivered next week!
