The St. Petersburg Beer and Bacon Festival is January 19th! You don’t want to miss out! General Admission is just $10! Children under 10 years of age are free admission (food available for purchase). |Time:||2:00 p.m. – approx. 5:30 p.m.|
|Route:||The parade begins at Bay to Bay Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard. It continues along Bayshore Boulevard to Brorein Street, turns east on Brorein Street, then north on Ashley Drive. The parade ends at Cass Street & Ashley Drive.|
|Viewing:||Purchasing reserved bleacher seats is the best way to secure a great viewing spot for this unique parade. There are many locations open to the public along Bayshore Boulevard and in downtown Tampa for viewing the parade.|
|Admission||Reserved seating is available. Reserved tickets are required for adults and children over the age of two. Children two and under, without a ticket, must remain in an adult’s lap. Shipping and handling fees apply. See bleacher seating locations on the Event Map.|

Don’t forget about our angels! The Angel Tree is located in our office. Be sure to swing by and adopt an angel to shop for. All angels must be turned in by 12/12/2018 at 6 PM.
Toys for tots is located in our clubhouse and they will be picking up on 12/16/2018.

-Toiletries i.e. toilet paper,tooth brushes, toothpaste
-Gift cards: Gas and grocery
If you cannot donate items, please consider donating any generous amount to the American Red Cross foundation. You can bring us a check made out to them and we will deliver it for you, or you can donate on their web page electronically. All donations and checks will be hand delivered next week!

Wednesdays July 11th, 18th and 25th at 5:30 p.m.
The James Weldon Johnson Community Library will host a Summer Bee Series on July 11, July 18 and July 25 to test elementary students’ knowledge of spelling, geography and math. Children entering grades 1 – 6 will compete for awards and gift cards, and first place winners in each age group will receive a trophy.

Score a Home Run with the “Reading with the Rays” Summer Reading Program at Your Local Library
Go celebrate the “Reading with the Rays” summer reading program at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, at the St. Petersburg Main Library, 3745 9thAve. N. Children, teens and their caregivers are invited to hear a story read by a Tampa Bay Rays player, while interacting with the Rays Street Team and DJ Kitty.
The “Reading with the Rays” summer reading program allows children and teens to “read your way to the ball park” by logging hours spent reading on a game card. For every hour read, children and teens advance around bases on the game card. When they arrive at a base, they can pick up a reward at their local library. When they reach home plate, they will receive a voucher for tickets to see the Tampa Bay Rays in action!
