A Plastic Ocean: A Screening & Discussion

April 26, 2018 – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
SPC Seminole Campus Digitorium

Join SPC Seminole for the movie, A Plastic Ocean followed by a discussion.

In the center of the Pacific Ocean researchers found more plastic than plankton. “A Plastic Ocean” documents the newest science, proving how plastics, once they enter the oceans, break into small particulates that enter the food chain where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are stored in seafood’s fatty tissues, and are eventually consumed by us.

*Space is limited up to 160 people and advance registration is required
Before the discussion, come see us for a tour at The Courtney at Bay Pines! Offering one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes, our floor plans range from 590 square feet up to 1469 Sq ft! The amenities will blow you away! Sit around our fire pit, or catch some rays around our salt water pool! Our community is also pet friendly! You can learn more about our pet policy and community here! Come by or give us a call at 727-800-9857.
