Be the first to see new affordable works of art! ArtWalk is Opening Night for more than 40 galleries and studios to premiere new works.  It’s impossible to take in the entire ArtWalk in one night.  Plan to walk, drive or take a trolley to explore different neighborhoods.

Free ArtWalk trolleys circle the arts districts – a trolley stops near each gallery every half hour.

Free parking can be found on 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S from 15th St to 30th St, The Clay Center of St. Petersburg, MGA Studios and the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum.

Mahaffey Ballet

Do you enjoy ballet? We have the event for you! Enjoy a classic ballet brought to you by The State Ballet Theatre of Russia Presents Sleeping Beauty and performed by dancers around the globe on Friday, Jan. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Founded by legendary dancer and former Prima Ballerina of The Bolshoi Theatre Ballet, Maya Plissetskaya, The State Ballet Theatre of Russia, now under the direction of award-winning dancer and Moiseyev dance company soloist Nikolay Anokhin, presents one of the greatest classical ballets of all time. This timeless fairy tale of a princess cursed to sleep for 100 years, is considered one of Tchaikovsky’s greatest jewels. The State Ballet Theatre of Russia presents 50 of Russia’s brightest stars to bring this romantic tale of true love to glorious life!

Are you a WWE fan? We have the event for you! 

On December 30th, 2017, World Wrestling Entertainment will be in Tampa for their Holiday Tour! See some of your favorites like Randy Orton, John Cena, AJ Styles and more! The Event will be held at the Amalie Arena on December 30th at 7:30 PM. Purchase tickets here!

Never heard of WWE? No problem! WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. Most stunts and perfomances are choreographed for entertainment purposes, and each performance has a story line. WWE was first invented by Roderick James McMahon in the 1950’s and the business has since been passed down through the generations. The current owner of WWE is Vincent K. McMahon. Critics praise the Great Russian Nutcracker danced by a company of 40 world-class Russian artists, with nine lush, awe-inspiring sets and elaborately detailed costumes! Exclusive to the Moscow Ballet are 10-foot-tall silk puppets, life-sized Matrushka dolls and the “Dove of Peace,” in which two dancers balance and leverage with each other to form a soaring white bird with a 20-foot wingspan.

Treasure Island Sanding Ovations is hosting their 9th annual sand sculpting event! Get down to Treasure Island to see some astonishing sand sculptures! This is a free event! After you’re finished there, come see us at The Courtney for a tour of our community!

8am-5:30pm Sculptors begin work today with the “pound-up,” where tons of sand, combined with water, is molded into forms, which are then removed for the sculpting. At 7pm, join the sculptors at a meet ‘n’ greet at the Cystal Sands Ballroom at the Bilmar Beach Resort, 10650 Gulf Boulevard. $10/advance, $15 at the door, gets you everything: munchies from Sloppy Joe’s and beer from Great Bay Distributors.
